Performances

We host Black Muslim artists across performance arts genres and disciplines including theatre, music, spoken word, comedy, live painting and more!

Workshops

Our arts based workshops led by Toronto-based artists offer a space to dive into creating art while being gently guided by skilled facilitators. We have arts-based workshops in various disciplines including drumming, painting, mixed-media, and poetry writing. Open to all skill and experience levels.

Bazaar

We spotlight and support local entrepreneurs by giving them space to promote and sell their work ranging from artistic merch, to clothing, to personal care products, to plants, and more! Our community is truly creative and diverse in skill and talent! We hope that by giving these entrepreneurs space they can connect to community and inspire more support for Black Muslim businesses. We do not charge vendor fees, so all the money made goes directly to the vendor. We just provide the space and audience!

Kids' Corner

Our events are family-friendly and we provide kids' activities such as organized games, face painting, coloring, sidewalk chalk and other safe activities for kids. Child minders and volunteers are present at all times to facilitate and monitor kids' activities. We also provide a raffle draw where we give away toys and books to kids. In 2019, we gave away 250+ free wrapped Eid gifts to kids through our collaboration with Rania El-Mugammar's Black Muslim Kids Eid gift drive
